I’ve been very busy these past few days because we’re moving to QC. Actually, we’ve already moved to QC. In fact, today’s my 3rd day here in QC.

That’s a lot of QCs mentioned there. LOL I still can’t believe I’m a NORTH girl now. It definitely hurts having to move away from Makati, where I lived all my life. I’m a certified Makati girl, but not anymore :(

Last night out of the blue, my sister told me she’d like to eat out. She wanted Japanese but we just had Omakase like 2 weeks ago. My mom suggested Kanin Club in Ayala Triangle Garden because she was able to try their branch in QC and guess she enjoyed it.

Well, I loved it! The food was great and it’s actually affordable.

I was craving for Binagoong rice for quite some time so we ordered that. We also had sinigang na sinangag, or was it sinangag na sinigang, which is obviously a sinigang-inspired rice.

We also ordered squid in salt and pepper, so-so. Calderetang nueva, not bad. Bbq, which tasted like tocino. And crispy dinuguan, which was yummy! It was my first time ever to try dinuguan, and I loved their version. It had chicharon bits. So good!

Overall, 5 stars. Kanin Club is truly a must-try!

WTF! This sales lady from Alice Blue in Powerplant mall has yet again divulged an incorrect information.

When I asked how much for a candle refill, here’s what she told me: “limang piso pag ung maliit, siyete sa malaki”. Those were her exact words.

I got extremely surprised how cheap it’ll only cost, even my officemate who was with me at that time was also very shocked.

Of course it got me thinking, why even bother to buy a candle that would cost 200php plus for a small one and almost 500php for the big one if in fact, we could avail it for ONLY 5-7php a refill.

Because my officemate and I absolutely couldn’t believe what we heard, we repeated to her with exaggeration: “ha? 5 pesos lang, ganun kamura?…sige wag na tayo umangal baka magmahal bigla”. But she still confirmed what she said.

The fact that I double checked with her, I almost believed it. Unfortunately she was the only one there so I couldn’t really ask anybody else, or rather no one was there to correct what she’s talking about.

Well, it really sounded ridiculous to me. I even told my friends and they shared the same sentiments. I also told my sister and she said that’s impossible (I know right) and that 5php would probably be the discount amount for a refill.

So my sister was right! The 5php would be the discount if it’s just for a refill. I went back on a different day and good thing there was another sales lady who could answer me correctly.

I would never ever ever talk to her again! My goodness!!!

For some reason, I didn’t enjoy our Omakase dinner last...

I like Pizza Hut more than Shakey’s for two reasons:

1. Pizza Hut takes only about 30 mins to be delivered at your place, while Shakey’s takes almost an hour.

2. Pizza Hut offers stuffed crust, which I LOVE!!! I like Shakey’s New York pizza crust though. YUM!

I miss Yellow Cab!
